The Gravity Candle

After hundreds of years of candle frustration a near perfect candle has been invented. Finally there is light at the end of the candle, no more half burnt candles, drowned wicks, annoying candle surgery and no more rivers of wax escaping.

The Gravity Candle continues burning as if it were permanently new. The flame always remains visible at the top and exhibits a deep bright glow that will continue until the last flicker and will not deposit any messy wax.

The new candle works on a GRAVITY principle and consists of an inner candle with an outer shell.

How can that work ?

The inner candle burns with the outer shell positioned around it. This shell resembles a normal looking pillar candle. The inner candle carries the weight of the shell.

The shell has an opening through which the burning wick and the inner candle are visible. The shell remains cool and won’t burn or lose shape. Our shells are made of wax or other suitable materials. Gravity Candles have a standard diameter and are supplied in many colours and in a variety of heights.

When the Gravity Candle burns, the inner candle becomes lower and gravity causes the shell to follow it down.

About the shell

To protect the shell from burning, overheating and losing its shape, the inner candle is separated at the top from the shell by a dome shaped catch (patent pending). This sturdy glass catch is permanently embedded in the top of the shell. It has been designed to hold the candle in position, to maximize burning efficiency and to exclude melting wax from escaping.

Inner candles (refills)

After extinguishing and after the system has cooled, a new refill can be inserted in the shell and the next burning cycle can begin. This process can be repeated without limitation. Only genuine gravity candle refills will perform, because the refills are specifically designed and formulated for the gravity candle system. The refills are of a high quality, very economic to use and are available in a variety of fragrances.
